Yesterday was a primary in Puerto Rico. I happened to catch a newscast that said that Puerto Rico cannot vote in the general election. I have asked a couple of people why do they have a primary if they can't vote in the general election. Does anyone else feel like this was an exercise in futility? I saw some figures last week of the monies raised and spent SO FAR on this election and it was close to 3/4 BILLION DOLLARS. That is a lot of money that could really do some good. Obviously we need to waste some more money and have a pretend primary in Puerto Rico. I'm confused - or is cornfused? LOL
