Well, well. It looks like Buster and I agree on one thing. This whole FLDS thing was a government scam. Those of you who disagree may find the government to be anti-baptist tomorrow, or anti- methodist the next day. Don't you get it? Government cannot be allowed to pick and choose which religion to declare as evil. If we let government do that, then why are there still catholics, in view of what has been going on in their churches?

But marrying underage girls to 70 year old men was sanctioned by this group, which is totally different. The pope never said it was okay for catholic priests to do what they did. The problem is FLDS was breaking-the-law. You can believe whatever you want so long as you're not doing something that we universally agree is wrong.

Notice that we also don't allow human sacrifice, even though I'm sure a few people's religion calls for it. But "Government cannot be allowed to pick and choose which religion to declare as evil", right? When you're involved in the recieving end of the sacrifice, don't complain that their religion is evil - who are you to say?

IF the government has enough evidence and witnesses, try them in court. I don't see it happening. Kinda hard when your whole action is based on rumors.
