Just thought I'd share my experience from this morning.  I was at Memorial Park Cemetary for their service.  While the national anthem was being sang I saw less than a dozen people with their hands over their hearts.  On top of that their were probably more than a dozen people still wearing their hats. (hats that were given out by the funeral home for today's services)

1. Who cares? Let's get back to the issues.

It's a respect thing, and for some people that is an issue.

Yes it is an issue.

There have been untold lives spent, blood spilled and tears wept to make and keep this country free. Free for all the tree huggers and anti military out there. Ryan I'd venture to wager you would/could NOT make it through boot camp let alone trying to serve your counrty in the military.

Any branch. Any day.

Heard part of a Boma comment that he was too young for the draft, Viet Nam and such.

He still could have enlisted like how many thousands have since the stopping of the draft. No he would rather slam/ bang and skirt the questions. He's a real politician. If he don't want to talk about he either ignors the question or says let's change the subject.

I have and will continue to speak up and lead by example at the passing of the American flag or during the playing of the National Anthem.

1. Stop talking and pay attention!

2. Take your hat off!

3. Hand over your heart until the flag formation has passed or the end of the anthem!

Plain and simple.

I myself have a fouth step. I kiss my wife and thank my lucking stars that I am able to live and work in the USA and enjoy all of our freedoms.

If I were totally undecided and open minded, I still wouldn't vote for Obama. Why? Well, my family is military minded and patriotic. We are not drafted into service, we enlist. True, I couldn't pass the physical. Twice. And, my family is working class folk. Obama and his "change" to no one knows what just don't fit in. Nor does that silly Clinton broad.

How could you expect B. Hussein Obama to know the proper protocol for the National Anthem and flag? The man doesn't even know how many states are in the country!!!!!!!!!!!
