hey all you insulting people you have a choice to not read it. so for the ones that keep on with the insults grow up. don't waste your time and mine. your insults are weak and do no harm to me. is it personal to you or what. didn't your mom teach you that if you don't have something nice to say don't say it. you tube is easy for people who watch TV. like 90% of America. plus I do not post for you three who have NEVER countered anything I post with anything even close to a fact. anybody with an IQ of 6 can post an insult. I unlike you, I do not post for re-post. I post info, don't like it don't read it. what did you guys do before I came around! you guys can turn a blind eye to what is going on BUT IT IS A FACT that national ID with rfid chips are coming, Texas trans corridor is being built, north American union( like the European union and the African union ) is coming, read the damn executive orders by bush and Clinton. there are books, newspaper articles, groups, web sites and etc. open your eyes and look pass your TV. just once I wish one of you guys would actually try to disprove my info instead of going to the " you're a poopy head " game!  I am not the a lone ranger on this subject. if you would look around you would see more of us. just wait til jul 12 and see how many turn up. I have shown the cfr members, the 9/11 questions(not answered), the truth of the federal reserve, the NAU-(nafta,drcafta) and more. yet all you guys ever say is you're a poopy head. good point. I post to inspire people to see what is happening in America. to go and search for yourself. to stop the destroyers of America. why don't you guys spend the day trying to disprove my info just once. show everyone you can write something that is not an insult. here is a video (for those that don't mind utube) of George Carlin  and yes George cusses. george W bush stated that the constitution was just a damn piece of paper! C'mon he swore to protect that official document!

Educate and inform the whole mass of the people... They are the only sure reliance for the preservation of our liberty.
Thomas Jefferson

Every government degenerates when trusted to the rulers of the people alone. The people themselves are its only safe depositories.
Thomas Jefferson

I hope we shall crush in its birth the aristocracy of our monied corporations which dare already to challenge our government to a trial by strength, and bid defiance to the laws of our country.
Thomas Jefferson

It is our duty still to endeavor to avoid war; but if it shall actually take place, no matter by whom brought on, we must defend ourselves. If our house be on fire, without inquiring whether it was fired from within or without, we must try to extinguish it.
Thomas Jefferson

If the freedom of speech is taken away then dumb and silent we may be led, like sheep to the slaughter.
George Washington

It may be laid down as a primary position, and the basis of our system, that every Citizen who enjoys the protection of a Free Government, owes not only a proportion of his property, but even of his personal services to the defense of it.
George Washington

Over grown military establishments are under any form of government inauspicious to liberty, and are to be regarded as particularly hostile to republican liberty.
George Washington

The basis of our political system is the right of the people to make and to alter their constitutions of government.
George Washington

The Constitution is the guide which I never will abandon.
George Washington

The constitution vests the power of declaring war in Congress; therefore no offensive expedition of importance can be undertaken until after they shall have deliberated upon the subject and authorized such a measure.
George Washington

Democracy... while it lasts is more bloody than either aristocracy or monarchy. Remember, democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There is never a democracy that did not commit suicide.
John Adams

There is danger from all men. The only maxim of a free government ought to be to trust no man living with power to endanger the public liberty.
John Adams

The very word 'secrecy' is repugnant in a free and open society; and we are as a people inherently and historically opposed to secret societies, to secret oaths, and to secret proceedings.
John F. Kennedy

My fellow Americans, ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country.
John F. Kennedy

mobaydave, it is with the greatest respect possible that I address you here, so please do not misconstrue the following criticism as a personal affront.

I spend the vast, vast majority of my time here simply reading what other folks have to say.  During this time, I have noticed a trend of yours to make posts like this one, almost always with a Ron Paul slant.  More often than not, I find that the raw content of your message is good, however frankly Sir, your delivery sucks.

It is absolutely correct that the vast majority of Americans, including a great deal of folks here (or any other cross-section of society), do not understand the proper role of the Federal government.  Most don't understand that the Constitution is the supreme law of the land, not what Congress or the president says.  Most couldn't tell you even a handful of the powers of Congress delineated in Article 1, Section 8 of the Constitution.  Because of this lack of understanding, it's also true that most Americans cannot tell you that the preponderance of Federal programs, resolutions and legislation enacted into laws are illegal; they go on thinking that most of what happens in D.C. must somehow be perfectly okay since Congress passed it and the Supreme Court doesn't turn it over.

You and I are on the same exact page here, but...

People don't want to be lectured.  Your posts--specifically your delivery--have made you a parody of yourself.  You preach and preach on and on and it has no doubt come to pass that people here simply ignore you.  If people want to be preached to, they go to church or to their in-laws.  It doesn't help that you frequently call what most folks perceive as conspiracies into "evidence" to support your position.  I'd also lay off the finger pointing, acerbic accusations and name calling too.  Calling people ignorant sheep, even though they may be, isn't a good way to desheepify anyone, Brother.  The lack of proper capitalization, grammar and paragraph structure doesn't help much either...It's kinda hard to be taken seriously when you communicate at the level of a 8th grader on MySpace.

So let's try something new.  If you feel it is your civic duty to educate (and frankly, there's fewer nobler pursuits; indeed, it's everyone's civic duty to keep one another abreast of our government's doings), then rather than rant, toss about mild insults, bring up conspiracies, and type like crap, how about this...Pick a single subject each week, something that you perceive to be a farce of Constitutional law and just government, then calmly and clearly explain the situation to everyone in a paragraph or two.  Break it down into it's basic parts and stay on topic; do not stray and begin preaching about everything and anything that's messed up in D.C...But limit these subjects to one a week to give people a chance to read, digest and respond.  Too much all at once just gets you ignored.

Then, provide some off-site links to credible sources that discuss the issue as well so people can get an outside perspective.  Following that, explain why this particular thing is wrong.  Again, cite sources, quote the Constitution, give examples, etc.  Once you've done this, describe how we can fix the problem.  And don't just tell us "write your congressman!"  We all know that one, and we're all probably aware that it isn't gonna do much good since they usually don't give a damn...So give us something constructive to do, something powerful.  Money runs the world, so are there civil rights lobby groups dealing with that issue we can donate to?  Are there political action groups we can join?  And so on.

Once you've done all this, wrap it up with a good, patriotic conclusion.  All your quotes are great, but Christ man, don't give me a book to read.  We all know the Founding Fathers created this nation and therefore have the best perspective on how things should work, so quoting them is indeed influential, but select a few piquant and poignant quotes for us to ponder on.  Just like "for the children" moves us, "for your country" moves us too.  Appeal to our civic duty as good Americans--and do it without making us feel un-American and stupid as we are now.

Then spell check your post in a separate program and make corrections accordingly. Wink

And do all this while crossing, blurring and completely eliminating party lines.  I know that may sound difficult, but it's not that hard to be apolitical or at least politically nebulous.  When it comes to the Constitution, there are no "sides" after all, only what the law says and what it does not.  In the end, what's truly important isn't who is better: Democrats or Republicans, or Obama, Hillary or McCain, or whatever...But rather who is most likely to support, maintain and defend the Constitution, and why doing so is so critically important to the well-being of the nation.

On that note, you're a Ron Paul supporter.  That's good; he's a fine man with an impeccable Congressional record.  I've had the occasion to meet him on multiple occasions and he's the sort of man who would make the Founders proud.  However, you do much damage to his campaign--and more importantly, his message--with your ranting and raving, most especially since there's a great deal of misinformation floating around out there about the guy.  There're plenty of folks who think, for example, that he blames America for 9/11.  I know and I'm assuming you know that's not true, but instead of pissing in everyone's Cheerios about how ignorant and un-American we are and how Ron Paul is America's Political Jesus, you really need to be explaining what Paul's beliefs are and dispel all those myths.  See the above paragraphs on how to do that.

Again Sir, I mean all of this with all due respect; America needs more people who "get it" and with as much motivation and desire to do right as you seem to have.  America is a great nation, but her people are getting lost.  Folks such as yourself can be integral in steering us back on course, but no one likes a preacher and that kind of person just gets ignored at the least and despised at the worst--both things which are completely contradictory and damaging to your mission.

Good luck Dave.  I look forward to what you can do in the future.

What if we choose to read your posts and insult you? Can't that be one of our choices? Obviously our insults DO harm you. Look at the long diatribe you typed out about it. When I was in my first childhood, i grew up. I'm in my second childhood now. You don't grow up in that one. You grow younger. ROTFL I kill myself sometimes.
