Unsurprisingly, I think you guys are all a bunch of easily manipulated fools (not you kopf). Nowhere has Obama said anything other than that he is going to talk to them. He's never said that he would give them anything. In fact, he's said several times that these talks would be about what the United States expects from these nations - laid out in clear, unmistakable terms. It's not as though he would go into Iran and give them whatever they want. That's the Republican spin.
But seriously, let's look at what the Bush/McCain/Clinton approach of not talking to them has produced. Compare the Iran of today with the Iran of eight years ago and you'll see that they are in a much more strengthened position because of our foreign policy. Do you really think that more of the same won't lead to more of the same?
It's time for a different approach.
