Thumbs Up  As far as I'm concerned, when the Maid-Rite was still open on Hershey Avenue, and, the new one was already open (by Culvers- across from Menards), on Hw 61N, you couldn't even tell that they were owned by the same person.  The one on Hershey had a bunch of snot nosed kids working there that gave a crap less about the customers.  Like said before, the new one (on 61N) is clean, bright, nostalgic, and actually tastes LIKE the Maid-Rites of old!  I think that you'll be pleasantly surprised.  My wife and eat there about once a week.  Depending on how long it's been since you've been to Muscatine, you won't even recognize highway 61 & the North end of Muscatine.  Welcome back.  Tom.

Tom, I never thought you would ever be talking to me again. Thought you hated me.Cry And thank you for the welcome back but I am not back yet.  Smile  Soon though. Take Care.

The flavor may be what you recall of the sandwishes of old but don't forget your pocketbook.

I must either have a very short memory, or, get over something quickly, because I really don't have any idea why I should hate you, or quit talking to you!  Just for the record, don't remind me, IF I've forgotten about something, let's let sleeping dogs lay.  Have a GOOD one!  Be sure to tell us when you're back.  Tom.
