I had the great opportunity to meet 2 of the "finest" Muscatine has to offer...pfffft

They were RUDE!

Anyother experiences similar???

Why are cops rude?

Because WE allow them to be rude! All it takes is for a the citizenry to realize that they work FOR us, and they are NOT hired to disrepect us or be rude to us... a few civilian complaints should do the trick... the only problem is that not enough people care enough to follow-through with a complain (and they KNOW this and rely on this). They love to pontificate and talk like they know everything... they are merely repeating what they've heard others say, and they are NOT attorneys nor lawyers! They memorize a few codes and they strut around like the bullies and love to push people around BECAUSE WE ALLOW them.

They hang out all day long b/sing on their cell phones, most of the time they sleep the night away in their cruisers, they break the laws they're paid to enforce (going past red lights for no reason other than the fact that no one reports them, they park on bus stops while out to lunch or on one of their multiple coffee & donut breaks or double park wherever they want... who's going to give THEM a ticket? That's abuse of authority but we allow them... instead of consistently reporting them and filing official complaints!
