the bowling alley on 3rd st. it was before the old central state bank walk up. they had upstairs and downstairs lanes.

I seem to recall a bakery on 3rd about where the bowling alley was also. The fire station on Sycamore between 3rd and 4th. Parties at night at a secluded gravel pit and some A-hole (ahem) driving toward it with a red flasher light on his roof. All the cars and partiers beat it out a back road, abandoning much of their beer and whiskey. Thank you guys, whoever you were.

  Gotta remember Kinkade Hollow, lots of parties down there.  & MP&W was on the corner of 3rd & Sycamore, right next to the fire station.  Remember the fire station on 4th & Cherry?  I don't remember Millers trailer on old 38, but, do remember Hatfields' Corners.  When we went to Coles, used to play "Eight Days a Week" on the juke box.  Was in love with a waitress there, and, was ALWAYS too shy to ask her out.  But, I ALWAYS played that song when we came in to eatl  That was "our song" (even though she didn't know that!).  Don't know which was neater, the Dog, or the Cannery???  Those were the Days, my friends!  Tom.
