interesting is how you ignore the harmful effects of pot. I can say cigarette smoking is my right, but I'd be hard pressed to say it was harmless.

Seeing how you got all your B.S. info from the BBC, I have to reject it. But seeing how I'm from the United States, I WILL tell you why.

1st, as a smoker for 25 years, and a person who has lots of friends who smoke, I have...Excuse me, WE have never heard of the term ''getting the fear''. Sure, a little paranoia seeps in now and again, but usually by those who feel that they're doing something wrong by smoking pot. Most of us who smoke lost the paranoia when we moved out of Mom & Dad's, and 15% is pretty low compared to alcohols effect.
2nd, alcohol effects your memory loss and causes confusion 3 times as much as pot. I'd be willing to bet that you don't know where the cerebellum or the basal ganglia are in your brain. And let's not forget that the people who do these studies have probably never used marijuana.
3rd, a recent study showed that only about 40% of pot smokers are regular cigarette smokers, and cigarette smoking, second hand smoke, coal mining, asbestos installation and factory workers are far more likely to develop lung diseases as cannibas smokers.
Furthermore, there are 158 carcinogens in tobacco products as compared to 3 in marijuana, so that argument is null and void.
In fact, the most compelling argument that you made is in regards to adding alcohol use to the marijuana use. Basically what yo're saying is not until alcohol is introduced into the mix do the problems multiply.
I have a feeling you're ''Shmoe'' for a reason. Go back to Britain and get some more useless facts.

I'm not saying that pot smoking is harmless. I'm not saying that it's good for you. I'm saying that in comparison to other ''legal'' drugs, it is no more harmful or detrimental.
Let me ask you this Chosen? If pot is so bad, why does the gov't sanction and fund medical marijuana farms in California, Oregon and other states? Do you know of any medical booze, cocaine or meth farms? I think not.
