Morning Sunwood is a voluntary association of homeowners and tenants with primary concerns over local safety and crime issues and neighborhood improvement. Originally formed to secure City support for perimeter wall repair and painting, the Association then secured the relandscaping of Greenville from roughly Warner to Segerstrom. Also secured City financial aid for the perimeter wall signs (whose replacement comes from Association dues), sponsored a community pancake breakfast for the past five years, provide helpful information on such timely topics as flood insurance premium reduction procedures, and interaction with the City on code enforcement issues. We also publish a quarterly newsletter which is distributed to every home.
