The info last year was that 50th & Douglas would get traffic signals this summer, 2001. Not happening. Mike @ the city said these would have been temp. lights due to extra traffic from Beaver going to 50th due to the Beaver/Douglas changes also scheduled for 2001. Bvr/Dgls is now scheduled for next spring-2002. So, 50/Dgls should instead get permanent signals sometime the fall or winter of 2001. (Maybe.)
