Something really need to be done about the cars that block the streets here at McIntyre. Every day there are cars parked more in the streets than in the yards and its impossible to get around them without getting hit by oncoming traffic. Most of these cars/vans/trucks that i have noticed have all that space left over in their drive ways or in front of their garages and it make no sense how they block the streets. Here's a thought, why not park in the garage thats attached to the home in the first place. Daahhh.

Also, there seem to be a problem with people putting their advertisements on the mail boxes out here. We are not a message board and im tired of having to go out every other day or whenever and get that trash off my box. If i wanted to decorate my mail box I would do it myself. I was told to just get them and mail them to the address on the business card or advertisement or call the number on them and have them come back and get it , but with postage so high, im not going to waste my time and money. calling them do no good, they just deny they are the one put them there. What if anything else can  be done? I refuse to keep picking up some on else litter.

Yes, there is a problem with cars being parked on the streets instead of driveways.

What you can do is call Pinnacle Management and ask for Brooks.  Give him the house address, and type of car that is blocking the street.  He will then start a process of sending them a letter and if they continue to do so, they will be fined.

Secondly, we have signs posted in both front entrances of No Solicitation, but people just ignore it.  Again, Pinnacle has contacted several Vendors informing

them to stop coming into McIntyre but there is always some new ones.  Again,

collect the flyers, call Pinnacle with the info and they will contact the Vendors.

I refuse to do business with anyone who leaves their trash on my mailbox.  If we all do the same it might make a difference, but to be realistic, the trash on mailboxes will never stop.  There are over 600 homes in McIntyre and it's a marketer's dream - a lot of homes in a small area.  My advice is to stop letting it bother you.

I agree the parking is bad in McIntyre.  I created a form in Microsoft Word that I fill out and send to Brooks Owings at Pinnacle Management whenever I see a violation.  It has a space for the street address, model, make, license plate number, etc.  I also printed some adhesive mailing labels with Brooks' address.  It  makes it quick and easy to report a violation.

The parking on the street is my biggest complaint with the neighborhood really. It's not a new problem, has been going on since we've lived here (4 years). It's really out of control. I don't think it will EVER change though. I honestly don't feel like the people who's homes are the ones all the cars are parking in front of, really care that anyone else is inconvenienced. It's not a one-time party thing. That I can understand, there is nowhere else to park. It's an everyday occurence driving down Bayview and having to wait for traffic to come through so you can go.

This sort of thing really kills our property values. I feel super sorry for the folks who have houses for sale on Bayview Parkway. I don't think they will ever sell. Not for what they need to get anyways. There are too many other options out there in this price range which don't have these sort of problems. I can't go park on Harris Blvd and block traffic, I don't understand why they can. It useless for me to worry about because they don't care and the people hosting them certainly don't seem to care either.

I know my wife and I are anxiously awaiting being able to put a down payment on a new home in a neighborhood where you don't need crossing guards to make it down the street. We'll have to rent out our house, because there is no way in hell we could sell it for anywhere NEAR what we owe on it. The house next door to ours is in foreclosure. It originally sold for 180k. It is on the market now for 131k and is still unsold. And there isn't a thing wrong with it, i've been through it, the house is in perfect condition!
