Maidu: A Park-Centric Neighborhood

The biggest single feature of the neighboorhood represented by the Maidu Neighboorhood Association (MNA) is the Maidu Regional Park. The park is well-known for its athletic facilites, walking trails, wildlife, library, community center, and the newly-opened Maidu Interpretive Center.

The park is bordered on most of three sides by MNA homes, so what happens in the park has a large influence much of the neighboorhood. As a result, the MNA has worked to have good relations with the Roseville City Parks and Recreation Department.

What We're All About

The Maidu Neighborhood Association (MNA) dedicates itself to being:
-- a forum for neighborhood concerns,
-- a means for learning what's going on in the neighborhood,
-- a way of influencing what other civic organizations help us to do to keep our neighborhood a great place to live,
-- and a way to volunteer for worthy projects and activities in the neighborhood.

How to Join

Your time, a little or a lot, as a voluteer, meeting participant, a block captain, or board member, will be very much appreciated. To join -- simply live somewhere in the neighborhood, and attend the next meeting (4th Tuesday of the month; see the latest MNA newsletter, delivered to your doorstep by volunteers, for location and time information.)
