** CRIME ALERT ** Madison Park - Mockingbird Lane

Attention Madison Park residents –

On the evening of August the 16th after 11:00 pm, a resident came home to find a silver 4-door Infiniti parked next to her residence with its lights on.  She did not recognize this vehicle and noticed that her bedroom light was on and believed someone to be inside her residence.  She drove away as to call 911 to seek Police assistance.  When she returned back to her home, the suspicious vehicle was gone and her house had been broken into.  We need Madison Park residents assistance in identifying this vehicle.  Please be on the lookout for this vehicle throughout the Madison Park neighborhood.  Please call 911 immediately if you see this vehicle or any other vehicle that you may see in your neighbor’s driveway and know it not to be your neighbor.

This is only a picture of the vehicle so folks can know what vehicle we are talking about – again, only a picture of a silver 4 door Infiniti for identification purposes.

Can you be more specific on the section if mockingbird lane where this occurred? thanks also for the mass email about the incident, i had no idea. I live on mockingbird, and have always felt safe, but will be on look out. Just received my first code violation warning in mail reminding me that the cans have to be behind or on side of my house. Big week in the neighborhood!

I will see if I can get the block.   CMPD normally does not speak in exact address locations but only blocks.    I also had no direct knowledge of this location outside of the e-mail from Officer Schwartz.

I will reach out to her now and see if she can provide more deatail.

I had someone respond asking if the person didn't think to write down the tag number.

That would of been a great idea, or snap a picture of the car and tag. I know one time I had a suspicious guy outside my house and I went up stairs and snapped some pictures of him.  Based on the pictures an officer new exactly who the person was that was hanging out.  It turned out to be very inncocent.   They guy was just cruising the neighborhood on foot to find wireless internet he could log on at a house.  However his actions were very strange.

As to the cans that would of came from the sweep mentioned in the other post most likely.   Cans are supposed to be stored rear or side yard and never in front set backs.   If codes were to ever fine on that issue it is $25.   Sorry if you were not aware of the Cities storage rules. The good thing is codes normally does just what they did in your case and  tries to warn you the first time.

I found it myself ....according to online tools the 1000 block of Mockingbird up near Barkley.
