Lunar Resources to help Earth

A self-supporting lunar outpost can tap the resources there to help solve Earth's energy problems in a clean way that will also help save Earth's environment.

The Lunar Reclamation Society studies the possibilities for a self-reliant lunar settlement.

We engage in public outreach about these exciting and promising prospects.

We serve as the SE Wisconsin chapter of the National Space Society.

While our focus is on the Moon, we are interested in all aspects of space exploration: Mars, the asteroids, Europa, you name it!

Meetings

We meet the 2nd Saturday afternoon of every month except July and August, from 1-4 pm at Mayfair Mall, in the Garden Suites East lower level Community Room 110 (near the entrance from the parking area under the General Cinemas complex.)

Free to the public. Talks and videos, free-wheeling rap about space. We are an informal group. Check us out!

In addition to our newsletter, we have a fun brainstorming group, man information booths, attend space conferences, go on field trips, make models of bases and vehicles, and have lots of fun.

Newsletter

Moon Miners' Manifesto is the name of our 20 page monthly newsletter, now in its 14th year of continuous publication.

About half of each issue consists of original articles speculating about the possibilities of settlement of the Moon (and Mars) and exploration of the rest of the Solar System. The rest includes breaking reports on space developments and chapter news.

MMM also serves several other chapters of the National Space Society as well as Artemis Society International. MMM has a current circulation of 700.
