The Ludlow Street Block Association (now Ludlow Block Association) was founded in ca. 1992-1993 by residents of Ludlow Street.

First concerned with noise and noisy patrons of Max Fish and the Ludlow Street Cafe (now Ludlow Bar), we have blossomed into a mature Block Association that is on the cutting edge of informing area residents and solving problems.

The Ludlow Block Association has gained the respect of elected officials, City, State and Federal Agencies as well as the media by being a pro-active Association.

Via the Internet, open meetings and advocacy at every level of government, residents and enlightened businesses have come together to make the Ludlow Street area - Planet Ludlow - a batter place to live and have a business!
