Linebaugh Estates

207 and 209 West Linebaugh Ave are being rented out to crowds of people. Not double occupancy, but overflowing. This is not what this area needs. At night and on weekends these places have more cars parked all over the yard than a bar parking lot.  I have seen police cars there already a few times at 209. This is not a good sign. I swear this neighborhood gets worse each week.

Keep an eye on them and feel free to call the police. It's also a code enforcement issue since these houses were built as a SINGLE family dwelling. I know w/the tough economic times, people are having to move back in with parents, etc but if their activities are causing a disturbance it becomes an issue. You can call TPD at their non emergency # at 231-6130. I agree about the neighborhood - one of the reasons our house is currently up for sale.

You can also file a report with Code enforcement on line, at TampaGov.net. Several reports (either by phone of on-line) close together would be a good starting place.

I agree the neighborhood seems to be worsening in some ways. It is almost a full time job to fight these kinds of issues that are detrimental to our neighborhoods, but if we all band togethr to try and keep things in check, things can improve.

Thank you for drawing this to our attention. I wasn't aware of it, but then I have been out of town off & on for the past month to six weeks due to a family member's illness.

I heard just this morning that the tennants at 207 moved out last week. FYI.
