Homes being rented out like apartment complexes

Posted in: Linebaugh Estates

If we all band together and cooperate with each other we can take back the neighborhood. But one or two people alone can't do it. How about you and some people from your grid form an alliance, and we can get together with a few people from our grid, and we can meet to discuss this and take it to TPD &/or other city authorities? There are numerous issues that should be addressed, but only a couple of people that bother to speak up. I'm glad to have you on our team, MadAsHell. Nobody I talk to likes the wannabes playing their rap at full bass, either. Nor do they like the dangerous traffic cluster created by the school traffic, but only a few of us has tried to address it. Try to make a note of what time of day it happens the most, what street, see if you can identify the vehicles, etc. I find that I get better resuts by emailing the mayor's office and letting them forward my complaint to the appropriate dept. We also get better results when multiple complaints are made, and everyone keeps a record of their complaint # (which, when you complain via email to the city, you are issued a tracking code for this purpose). When you can slap a list of complaint tracking numbers in front of city hall personnel to show that you aren't the only one to complain, it seems to get their attention. We have to keep on top of things but it can be done -- if there is truly enough interest. Contact me if you want to set up a discussion group. I'm not your grid leader but I can help. Aquarius9721@verizon.net Also feel free to bring some friends to the Eagle Eye NHW meeting May 27th @ Forest Hills Presbyterian Church, and bring up some of these issues to the TPD Officer in attendance. We're the same neighborhood, just a different grid #.

Madashell.. listen to aquariaus.. she can help you. Keep calling code enforcement, keep calling the police. I understand your situation completely, trust me. Our neighborhood, as much as I love it, will never get better. We got sick of the trashy, section 8 bullsh!t that came with it, the bass, the speeders, the crappy, lazy parents at the school that don't give a rat's behind if they run your kid over on the way to drop their own kids off, the trash, the trailer trash, the decreased values, people not caring, people thinking it's their god-given right to drive thru your yard because they don't want to get their @#@#$ cars wet. Screw that, we left. I miss my friends... but I don't miss the garbage. .. which was increasing by the day. Yes, I'm the neighborhood watch leader, I'm still here if anyone needs me.. but i'm not your neighbor any more. This neighborhood needs more help than one person (me) can give it. You all must band together and take it back or it's going to slowly go to hell in a handbasket.. you're half way there.
