There is a New Look coming to the entrance of our subdivision. The Association has hired a new Lawn Maintenance contractor. The Association and The Architectural Control Committee have made some decisions on how our entrance is going to change, we hope you will like it. These changes are going to lower our utility bills. There are other changes going on too. There are volunteers delivering fliers to each resident of information coming up. This cuts down on our postage spending and is saving money. There are volunteers that are going to do The Christmas Decorations as well. Little by little we, as a community are coming together and heading in a positive direction. If you haven't noticed the new information on this web site, please take a look around. There is a new contact email address. When you have a question for a Board member or Committee member please send your inquiry to : lincolnparkHOA@yahoo.com. The emails are checked daily and a response will be returned. I thank everyone of our residents for wanting more and I especially thank those who have volunteered to help their community. Oh, I almost forgot. I want to thank those who gave their email addresses at the Annual HOA Meeting. I hope you are enjoying the emails for the yard tonics and information. Please share them with your neighbors and have fun in your yards this year. Let us get green together.

So does this mean the dead plants are finally going to be replaced? Or has that gone by the wayside? I liked how that woman at the homeowners meeting put the president on the spot about the plants. YOU GO GIRL! On another note, when are the board elections, seems that our Lame Duck President keeps appointing himself to the position every year. He keeps saying that no one wants to be on the board, but I have not heard about any nominating committee or ballots prior to the meeting. However at the meeting he didnot ask for nominations from the floor. He just said he was going to stay on as President. Are there not term limitations for the officers. I hope Mr Prez shows up at the picnic, I will be looking for him. See you at the picnic.

YES, the plant issue is finally dead and the plants are going to be replaced, either by the landscape co. or the original contractor. As for the term limits, please read through your copy of the Covenants, if you do not have them they are posted on the web site home page. Please do come to the picnic, but please try not to make a scene but to enjoy the day with your neighbors. Our local sub-station Police officers have been invited to attend and to interact with our community. There may be other City and County officials in attendance as well. Remember to use the contact email address. Thank you for your concerns.

It is good that the local police from our sub station have been invited, you should also invite the neigborhood fire department. As for the city and county officials, I hope this does not turn into some political rally, who bright idea was that? I thought the picnic was for the neigbors to spend some quality family time, and comraderie with the people in the neighborhood. I will be watching.
