Lincoln Heights Business Improvement District (BID)

What is the Lincoln Heights BID?

The BID is the Business Improvement District:
· a private, non-profit corporation
· formed by a vote of Lincoln Heights Business owners in 1997
· works to improve conditions in the commercial areas of Lincoln Heights


Who is in the BID?

· Every business license holder in the Lincoln Heights area is a member of the district.
· Board of Directors are elected every year from among the membership


Where does the BID get it's money?

· As part of the formation, Lincoln Heights business owners agreed to pay an assessment to the city to fund the BID.

When does the BID meet?
· The Board of Directors meets on the third Wednesday of every month at the Bank of America (2401 North Broadway)
