Lee Park Arlington Hall Conservancy

The Conservancy

The Lee Park & Arlington Hall Conservancy's mission is to restore one of Dallas' most memorable landmarks-Lee Park and Arlington Hall located on Turtle Creek Boulevard.

To accomplish this ambitious undertaking, a unique public/private partnership has been formed with the City of Dallas, neighborhood and historical groups, as well as, community and business leaders. In addition, we need individual support from people like yourself.

The Conservancy is a non-profit organization whose responsibilities include fund raising for the capital campaign, designing and constructing the facilities, marketing and managing the property and most importantly to ensure the building's and park's continued well being.

Arlington Hall

When renovated and enlarged, this historic building will provide the citizens of Dallas access to a premier public place. Arlington Hall will be ideal for civic group and business meetings, weddings, receptions, catered luncheons and dinners, cocktail parties, chamber music and small theater productions. At this time, no such facility exists within the city.

Plans include a new entrance, reception room, rest rooms, kitchen, terraces overlooking the park, additional parking and the installation of other important necessities such as central air conditioning and heating (none exists today), fire prevention and security systems and handicap accommodations.

Lee Park

The park, long recognized as one of the country's most beautiful urban parks, will be totally reconditioned with new trees and azalea beds. Other special enhancements include a cascading waterfall, grotto amphitheater, outdoor pavilion, arbor garden, bird sanctuary and garden paths.

The park will be the perfect setting for concerts, garden parties, outdoor plays, recreational activities and quiet relaxation and meditation.
