La Paloma Family Services is an accredited and licensed residential care agency that provides a continuum of care to help youngsters 12 to 18, and their families, during difficult times. La Paloma's programs include: Crisis Shelter Care, Long Term Residential Care, In-Home Services, Individual, Group and Family Counseling, Assessment Services, Therapeutic Placement for Teenage Mothers and Their Children, Educational Support and Foster Care.

During the weeks, months or years a child is part of the La Paloma family, skilled, caring staff members help each youngster develop the tools and the skills needed to meet the challenges of every day life. An individual treatment plan and specific goals are developed within days of arrival, and updated as needed.

Although the issues that bring children to La Paloma Family Services may fall into patterns or categories, each child's needs are very personal, and very intense. That is why individual treatment plans are developed and implemented for each child, rather than expecting that child to fit into an existing program.
