What Is Kiwanis?

Kiwanis International is an organization comprised of over 500,000 members in 80 countries around the world. Kiwanians, as we are called, perform countelss hours of service annually in the furtherance of our motto: ''Serving the Children of the World.''

Who Are We?

The Kiwanis Club of NYC Young Professionals is a group of individuals who are interested in community service and networking. The club was formed in 2001 and members include professionals in the research, law, education and finance fields. We perform one or two varied and interesting service projects each month and try to remain flexible to accommodate everyone's busy schedule. Although our current membership is young of age, we are looking for members of any age who are ''young at heart.''

Meetings

Many Kiwanis clubs have weekly meetings, but we find this schedule to be infeasible for our membership. Furthermore, we want to devote the bulk of our Kiwanis experience to hands-on service, so we meet only once per month.
