KAVA Vision Statement
Hello, my name is SFC Marvin Harris,Founder of The Kentucky American Veteran Alliance,Inc.The organization was formed in 2002. KAVA has been an integral part of the day to day life of the homeless and incarcerated veterans, encouraging the empowerment and self-sufficiency to all homeless veterans and their dependents.
Objectives
To reduce homelessness among U.S. Veterans.
Being and information and referral source for homeless veterans.
Provide homeless prevention initiatives for incarcerated veterans
Implement provisions in PL 107-95: employment, health care, benefits, housing and shelter.
