Our house was next to that church and my dad would get so mad at the early Sunday mornng singing. Our neighbor, Jiggs Lofgren had a huge loudspeaker he would turn on to drown out the singing.

You must have been in my class because i had the same teachers. Also had Mrs. Blocker in 3rd grade.

Hello there, I certainly remember that loud speaker and the rock and roll songs that the man over there used to play during services. I remember them called Dick and Anne. Did you ever go to the church?  So you had the same teachers as me? Mrs. Blocker sounds familiar too. I remember Betty Barnes, David Williams, Linda Kay Hurst, Joanne Dickie, Elizabeth Rutledge, Roy Vandever. So long ago...I am now 69 years old. What is your name?
