About Our Club

IDEA Association

Practical Wisdom for Start-ups.

Got an idea?

If you have an idea for a new business or a new business project maybe we can help you. Since 1993, we've been helping entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs do more Good Work*.

Each month, we invite successful entrepreneurs and project managers to share their experience with us.

In the past speakers have included Doug Root Of Jungle Quest, Willie Hinton, Judy Zerafa, Paul & Lloyd Lewan, Stan Gallery of Carts of Colorado, David Powelson of Tri-R Recycling, Sam Newton of Country Dinner Theater, Sam Boyer of Brothers Coffee,Ted Pinkowitz from here at Neighborhood Link, and many, many others. Check out the calandar here for upcoming speakers.

In the second part of the meeting, we use our unique Brainstorming Discussion to share experience and to help us all spark our creative thinking to solve business problems and take advantage of opportunities.

The focus of everything we do is on how dreams become reality. Meetings are free and open to everyone, we just as that you be willing to contribute your ideas to the Brainstorming Discussion!

*EF Schumacher in SMALL IS BEAUTIFUL says Good Work has three qualities: 1) provides a necessary product or service; 2)pays an adequate income to employees, owners, and vendors; 3) gives employees an opportunity for personal growth.

Meet with us each month!

We meet the 4th Friday of each month at the Panera Bread Cafe, 1350 Grant Street (free parking in the garage), from 2 to 3:30 p.m.

Make a note on your calandar, right now, while it is on your mind, to either join us at the meeting, or the following day where the meeting continues here in Neighborhood Link in our new Discussion Area via the Internet. By the morning following each meeting you'll find the highlights from what the speakers shared, a discussion thread that continues the Braninstorming Discussion topics from the meeting, and comments and evaluations from those who attended live. So you never need to miss a meeting with us, even if you are on the other side of the world! Mark your calandar now to either attend the 2nd Tuesday of each month at Panera Bread in Denver, or check back here the following Wednesday as the meeting continues electronically.!

Although networking always takes place where ever people gather, that is not the purpose of our meetings. We are a learning organization, helping each other do more Good Work.

Please help us and a friend.

Do you know someone starting a new business or a new business project? Do them (and us) a favor and forward this page to your entrepreneurial friend, using the button to the left. It's quick and easy, so do it now, while it is on your mind. Your friend will thank-you, and so will we if you let us know what you have done. And you will be helping to keep the IDEA Association healthy so it is here when you need it for Brainstorming Discussion! Thanks in advance for your help.
