Close to O'Hare and named after Thomas Edison in the 1800's, Edison Park is home to famous architecture including TurzakHouse and Edison Park Field House. Three major parks entice residents to stay fit and enjoy the great outdoors. Brooks Park attracts hardcore sports fanatics, Edison Park has much to offer in both outdoor and indoor activities and Olympia Park has beautiful gardens and tennis courts. The annual 3-day Edison Park Festival is a perennial favorite with residents.
