City of Houston Acres
Houston Acres, Kentucky
The City of Houston Acres is an active 6th class city that was incorporated on October 3, 1956, in the county of Jefferson. There are 225 homes in the City and 491 residents (census 2000).
The current Mayor is Charles Bartman, and the commisioners are Roy Atwell, Donna Duvall, Donna Schabel and Ed Hardison.
The City Council meets the 3rd Wednsday of each month at 7:45pm at the McMahon Fire House on Taylorsville Road.
