We're Becoming Official

Thanks to Gayle Farley for stepping up to the plate and taking on the responsibility of developing "Keep Homer/Bald Hill Beautiful". This organization will be an affiliate of Angelina Beautiful Clean and will be committed to keeping our community clean through community cleanups and beautification projects. Neighbors,

Isn’t it great to live in such a beautiful community? We enjoy the privacy of living in the “country”, yet are not isolated. We are able to witness beautiful sunrises and sunsets and a bright sky full of stars at night.

Wouldn’t it be wonderful if our streets were lined with wild flowers instead of litter….our creeks full of wild life and ferns instead of trash and tires? Call me a dreamer, but I can see this happening, if we, the people living in Homer and Bald Hill, work together to make it happen.

What may seem a huge undertaking for one or two can become a few hours of enjoyment while cleaning up our community as well as getting to know our neighbors. Won’t you join in this effort as a part of Keep Homer/Bald Hill Beautiful?
Our first meeting will be in conjunction with Homer Crimewatch, on October 24th, 2006, at Bald Hill Baptist Church, at 7pm.

Saturday, November 4th is Angelina Beautiful/Clean’s “Fall Sweep” County Wide Cleanup. KH/BHB needs groups to volunteer to help clean up our streets and waterways. We have included participant forms for you, which need to be returned to Angelina Beautiful/Clean. You may contact Gayle Farley, 824-3223 or Tish Bryant – 824-5040 for further information.
