Home Aid of Wood County

Who We Are

A coalition of individuals, agencies, and churches who care about housing for their neighbors.

Home Aid of Wood County is a coalition of people representing business, social services agencies, and private citizens who have come together to address housing needs in Wood County.

The goal is to address the spectrum of housing issues in our community, from homelessness to permanent housing. This is accomplished by educating about housing issues, fund raising efforts to aid programs that address housing in Wood County, assisting the planning and implementation of programs to address the spectrum of housing needs in our community, and fostering coordination among existing agencies which deal with housing concerns.

Home Aid does not directly operate or supervise the housing programs, but has supported the following:

• Home Net -Through WSOS the homeless are provided housing and taught job skills.



• HATS Home Aid Transitional Services -The Salvation Army with funding from the CIty of Bowling Green, provides traditional housing for homeless people who are trying to locate permanent housing.
