About Us

Holland Park Community Association

The association was founded in 1964-65 and revived in 1986-87 during the Chestnut Street crisis.

The summer of 2006 HPCA is undergoing another rebirth. Please look forward to a new and improved Community Organization.

PURPOSE STATEMENT: To better the quality of life by representing the community to government and private agencies on issues impacting it; promoting safety, security and political awareness through educational programs; and encouraging beautification and recreational projects.
GENERAL INFORMATION: All residents of Holland Park are eligible for membership. The dues are $10.00 dollars a year. The money is used to defray the cost of advertisement and mailings to members. The HPCA Board of Directors meets the first Thursday of the month at the Springs City Church. Election of board members is held in November. General membership meetings are advertised and held in the Springs City Church.

End of Summer Music in the Park

Please join us in an afternoon of getting to know your neighbors and building a better sense of community.

We will have a concert at Jackson Park on September 12th, 2009. All residence of Holland Park Subdivision are invited to share in this event. Our goal is to start a more social community building. It will only work with participation and volunteers.

Bring your picnic dinners, with your blanket and or chairs to enjoy music by John-Alex Mason.

This will be a nice way to get to know your neighbors, and share an end of summer evening.

Future events will be continue from this event. Please come and build our community!

Neighborhood Watch

Several streets in Holland Park have their own Neighborhood Watch program already in place. We would like to have more participation moving forward with all of our streets. We are looking for Street Captains who will help with organization, and also would ask this person to be on the Board for HPCA. We would preferrably like two captains, so the responsibility will be shared. We are looking for a max of 4 hours or less a month. If anyone is interested in joining please contact Cynthia McGrath, her email is below.
