Hey Neighbors!! 

How is everyone? Listen, I'm trying something new. In order to increase communication and attendance at meetings, I am asking you to "POST" your ideas, comments, thoughts, etc... on things we can do to better our neighborhood like programs, events, etc.. I don't want this to be a complaint file. Just post your ideas, etc.. So, let's try it !! Just hit reply..and BLOG away :} 

Perhaps post fliers at the buisy intersections of hedgeville in enlish/spanish, perhaps select a block captain to remind neighbors of the upcoming meeting, and supply a limited number of refreshment a kinda while supplies last to get people to be on time.

I am a landlord with a house on Sycamore Street and would like to become more involved in the neighborhood.  My husband and I and our two kids used to live in the house 12 years ago unfortunatly a lot has changed.  How can we make it better/safer?  I think one way to do this is to gain more homeowners and less renters.  My tenant is interested in buying our house through a lease purchase but is unsure of how to proceed, as are we.  Maybe other renters would like to own their own home but don't know how to take the first step.  How about setting up a home ownership seminar and invite the whole neighborhood?  Have representatives from local banks come in and talk about establishing credit and/or cleaning up past credit problems along with introducing the great programs that are available for buying city properties.
