ALERT!! We have thieves making the rounds within our neighborhood, working by the dark of night! They are thieves of opportunity, trying car doors as they walk our streets, looking for that door you forgot to lock and then searching through your personal stuff and stealing everything from loose change to wallets to lap top computers. I have been hit twice in the last month and I know many of you have reported similar invasions of your personal space.
It may have been a non issue and they just dug through your glove box or the back of your truck looking for anything of value.. BUT PLEASE call the Sheriffs non emergency phone # and make an incident report! The more we make the authorities know about such crimes, the police patrols we will see, and hopefully prevent this from getting worse!
