April is Autism Awareness Month. We have just returned from the ASI Spring Symposium all re-invigorated, Refreshed and re-committed to Autism Advocacy.
The second addition 2006, volume 42, No. 2 of ''AUTISM Advocate'' was awaiting our return. Two articles caught my eye and piqued my attention.
#1 ''The Single Most Important Job'' 'Single Parents Speack on Raising a Child with Autism...Without a Spouse.' by Naina Chernoff.
This is required reading by ALL, families with affected chldren, their extended families, friends and neighbors. Please read, care and offer your help, love, support and encouragement. We ALL need to become involved and together in the ''Village'' Raising and Protection of the Child, Marriage and Family.

The second article was, ''Congressman John Tierney'', 'Rising Autism Awareness on the Hill'! Again become ''INVOLVED'' discuss this new legislation and respond to him and your Congressmen in Washington, DC., with your thoughts and concerns.
