We are Happy Wanderers, but NOT LOST!

Our summers are spent in our campers on Lot
#8,Spillway lane, N&L Camp Ground. on the Banks of the Mississippi River below Lock and Dam 16 in Muscatine.

It's amazing how the world's atmosphere changes to true cool peace,tranquility and relaxation when one crosses the railroad tracks of River Road on to the Camp Ground Peninsula. Wunderbar!

High Schooler ''Cub''

Cub will graduate from 8 th grade, West Middle School, May, '06 and transition to Muscatine High this Fall.

This summer he will be involved in the Salvation Army Summer Day Camp.

He loves camping out with us in his own Pop-Up camper, tending to his wildlife animal and bird friends on his lot and in the woods and swamps around him.

He is our nitely fire ring flame provider and part time blacksmith foundry hand.

Gypsy Wanderers We Are!

Sandy and I have been ''Around the Horn'' so to speak , with our separate lives as Farm bred Air Force Families and other ventures,

We are now retired but seemingly busier than ever. We are ''LOVIN''' it all the more.

Sandy is a true Muscatine, Mississippi River, born and bred girl of Logel and Reifert Roots.

She has worked at Grandpa Reifert's Fish Market, owner and operator of Blocker's Cafe, Ludlow, IL., McKey's Button Factory, Hon Industry, Great River Bend Agency on Aging, Food Service Director, Commision on Aging, Manager of Country Kitchen Restaurant, and Nursing.

I have lived from Coast to Coast, inbetween. and across the ''Pond'' in Belgium during my years of research and production in photo and magnetic tape and film manufacturing.

Cub really enjoyed our train trip vacation to Chicago the summer between 6 & 7th grade.
