As coordinator for the Glendora Emergency Response Communications group I am always interested in trying new things to hone the radio skills of the members. I appreciate all you do to keep your communication equipment ready to serve in case of an emergency. You are now cordially invited to use the N6WZK repeater located on Keller Peak. The frequency is 145.495 MHz, negative offset, with a PL of 167.9. The repeater has wide area coverage of southern California, and will be the GERC ?“home?” repeater. Although this is a private or ?“closed?” repeater, you are free to use this station for your personal communications as well.
We will conduct the GERC Net every fourth Tuesday at 8:30 pm on this repeater which gives you the opportunity to check in from almost wherever you are in your car.
Beginning today, I will be monitoring the N6WZK repeater and hope to chat with you on the air!
