HELLO WORLDWIDE SCOUTS! The 2009 Jamboree On The Air, known as JOTA will be held this year by the San Gabriel Valley BSA Council in Covina California, USA. We want to talk with you!

Our special event call sign will be K6U "Kilo Six Uniform"

We will be operating on 6 and 20 meters HF as well as locally on the Catalina Repeater 147.090 MHz.

This year we will ALSO have a station dedicated to EchoLink, using a remote connection to a Link at N7YLA's ham shack in Glendora, CA.

An annual Scouting event, the JOTA is sponsored by the World Scout Bureau in Geneva Switzerland. Their call sign is HB9S.
