Work has been underway for about a month now on the stabilization of Vulcan Trail.
Large steel I-beams have been driven into the ground down to the bedrock to support a retaining wall being built on the collapsed side of the trail/roadway in the area directly below The Club. While it is difficult to tame the forces of nature, it looks like this construction may do the trick, at least in this area.
