Fortified Hills Neighborhood Club Urban

Our neighborhood club provides an opportunity for long-time stakeholders and new residents of Fortified Hills-NCU to come together, share experiences, and discuss issues about our neighborhood. We gather for good times and good food on the (3rd) Third Tuesday of each month at 6:30-8:30 pm.  Meetings are TBD/To Be Determine or will be posted as scheduled.

Community Action

Our neighborhood group has adopted a portion of Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway (fomerly Bankhead Highway). We are also involved in reforming our group and seeking new officers.   All persons 18 years or older whose primary place of residence is within the boundaries of Fortified Hills, or any Corporation, Organization, Institution or Agency which owns Property, or has a place of business or profession shall have one VOTE and shall have the right to exercise that VOTE on all issues which come before the Fortified Hills-NCU.  We encourage community participation to become more engaged in maintaining and improving the community through a more unified effort to sustain positive development  and quality of life standards.  Please feel free to contact:

Neighborhood Planing Unit (NPU) J

Fortified Hills is part of NPU J. NPU J meets on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 7:30 pm at the Atlanta Job Corps Center located at 239 West Lake Avenue, NW. This body addresses public safety and code enforcement issues as well as reviews zoning variances and liquor license applications.  We encourage everyone to come out and attend the NPU-J meetings.  These meetings are so vitally important for the growth of our communities.
