Introducing CLT Community!

The City of Charlotte is excited to announce that the Neighborhood Organization Contact List (NOCL) is now part of the newly launched CLT Community, an online platform where residents can connect with several city resources using one convenient account. Contact information for current NOCL subscribers has been added to the CLT Community platform. Upgrade information and instructions have been emailed to existing subscribers – check your inbox for details!

NOCL subscribers are always among the first to learn about grants for neighborhood improvement projects, free workshops and trainings, public initiatives in the community, and rezoning notices that impact your neighborhood.  Added benefits of the new CLT Community platform include real time registration and address management, neighborhood document storage, and access to new tools including Code Enforcement case look-up and a development project viewer!

Visit CLT Community today to login or to register. For assistance or more information, email hnsgrants@charlottenc.gov

See what the Charlotte Mecklenburg Library's Community Read has to offer!

Join Charlotte Mecklenburg Library for Community Read! Community Read is the library’s month-long effort to have the community read (or listen) to books on current and relevant topics and participate in discussions, book clubs and events hosted by the Library and community partners. This year's program will focus on creating community dialogue around themes of friendship. The signature title, The People We Keep by Allison Larkin, includes a scheduled appearance by the author on March 21, 2023. The library has also selected companion titles for children and teens. Community Read has something for everyone and everyone is encouraged to participate.

For a list of programs and events visit: https://www.cmlibrary.org/community-read.

Take Mecklenburg County's Age-Friendly Communities Survey

To best serve our aging residents and future older adults, the Age-Friendly Communities Survey aims to gather input from Mecklenburg County residents, specifically those between 45-60 years old. The perspective of any aged individual is welcome to best guide efforts and initiatives throughout Mecklenburg County.

This survey is available in English and Spanish, please feel welcome to reach out for Spanish materials.
