FOLC eclectic homeschoolers

WE HOMESCHOOL BECAUSE:

We enjoy spending time with our children.

Children receive TRUE socialization, through interaction with a wide variety of individuals, not just their ''peers.''

Children can pursue their own interests, and learn at their own speed.

We understand that the ''cookie cutter'' education provided by schools can damage a child's interest in learning.

MEETINGS

FOLC meets almost monthly (we do not meet in Feb., June-August or December) for informal roundtable discussions on homeschooling topics. All meetings include 1 hour of topic talk and an hour for socializing. Children are welcome at all FOLC events. Please bring a quiet activity for your children to engage in during the talk time.
FOLC also offers a local network, and park days and special events as members wish to provide them.
