Encino Park Homeowner's Association

Encino Park is a community of about 4,000 located one mile north of the junction of Hwy. 281 and Loop 1604.

The association dates from the early 1980's with homes that range from 95 K-295 K and a median value of 132 K.

The association is in the city limits of San Antonio in Bexar County. It is in City Council District 9 and County Precinct 3.

Schools serving the association are: Encino Park Elementary; Barbara Bush Middle School ; and Winston Churchill (until Sept. 99 when children will attend the to be opened Ronald Reagan high schools). All schools are located in the North East Independent School District.

About our association

EPHA

Encino Park HOA is a mandatory association with 1065 member-homes. It has a nine person Board of Directors who serve three year terms. Three Board members stand for election each year at the annual meeting in October. An on-site manager has office hours of 9 AM- 1 PM M-F except on Tuesday when the office is open from 4-8 PM. Dues are paid annually, due Jan. 31.
There are 13 standing committees ranging from Architectural Control to Youth. Of special note are the Environmental , Pet Finder, Tennis, Basketball, Security and Cellular on Patrol, Landscaping, Pool, and Swim Team Committees.

The Association offers the following facilities to members: a swimming pool operating from 12:30 PM -8 PM daily during the May-Sept time frame, two lighted tennis courts, a full length basketball court, landscaping and maintenance of common areas, patrolling by off duty SAPD and a monthly newsletter. A full range of professionally taught seasonal lessons are available for children including tennis, basketball camps, swim lessons, and volleyball as well as a number of other programs such as reading, youth, and junior jazzercise.

Major groups are: Women's Club, Bible study, Dinner Club, Christian Women's Luncheon, the Playgroup,and the Homeschoolers,

Some of the principal activities during the year are: the Craft Fair in October, Halloween Carnival, Herb and Garden Show in March, Easter Egg Hunt,and the Community Garage Sale.
