Embark on a creative journey with our Bilingual Poetry Workshop, where carefully curated prompts await to unlock the gates of your imagination. Focused on honing practical skills and fostering creativity, this workshop welcomes participants of all backgrounds. Facilitated by Irlanda Ruiz, a seasoned poet, accomplished writer, community leader, and published author. Join us for an enriching exploration of the art of poetry!
Recommended for ages 13+.

Local Latino-led Gallery host its 3rd Annual Exhibit

Charlotte, NC – On Friday, February 2nd, OBRA Collective Gallery, together with Petra's Art Lounge, will host the opening for its third annual Valentine's Day themed exhibit, Amores y Desamores (Love and Heartbreak). At 6pm, festivities will begin in the OBRA Collective Gallery (located at the VAPA Center), featuring the talents of OBRA Collective artists. At 9pm, everyone will be invited to continue the festivities, at Petra's Art Lounge, where all can enjoy more art and musical performances by King Noli, Alan Charmer, and ICH. The evening's enjoyment will have food for sale by Mitos Nicaraguan Street Food.
