The DBHA was formed in 1984 "to advance and promote the economic and aesthetic growth, development and awareness of Dixon Branch; to promote the general welfare, prosperity, service and reputation of Dixon Branch to stimulate public sentiment to those ends; and to provide such service and information and to encourage such things as will or may be reasonably expected to promote those purposes."
