Community Clean-ups!

September 9, 2006

District 6 and District 7 are offering the fall clean-up for residents who live in both districts. Area boundaries are Larpenteur south to University Avenue, I-35E west to Lexington. You must bring proof of residency.

Fees:

Large Appliances:
$10 for each stove, washer, dryer
20$ for air conditioners, refrigerators or appliances with freon
Electronics:
7$ for TV or Computer
Furniture:
7$ for each mattress, couch, large chair
Tires:
1$ for car tire
5$ for semi-truck tire
$20 for tractor tire
Construction Materials/Miscellaneous or Gate Charges:
5$ a car load
10$ for station wagon
$15 for minivans, SUV or pickups
20$ for trailors
25$ for trucks larger than 1/2 ton
Fluorescent Bulbs:
Free
Not Accepting:
Brush, chemicals, oil, pesticides, leaves or grass clippings, porcelain or steel sinks & tubs, auto parts, household garbage, hazard wastes (paints, solvents, chemicals, or batteries!
