3 months to repair streetlights?

Posted in: Mayors Office-Neighborhood City Halls Administration
About a month ago, I called the Lights Dept. to have some street lights replaced on my street. I was told it would take at least three months to have it repaired. In the meantime,my car has been vandalized twice, attempted twice to steal, so now my alarm goes off all night, disturbing my neighbors, because my car is a target sitting in the dark. Of course I didnt file a claim with my auto insurance. It's cheaper for me to spend $800.00 for my repairs. Hmmmm.....I wonder if the bulb for this light cost that much. Right now I cant move out of the neighborhood i grew up in, came back to, and now it feels like a war zone. I'm not asking for police presence(lmao) I dont want to burden my city too much. But can a citizen at least get a bulb!!!!!!!!
