Derbytown SHHH (Self Help for Hard of Hearing)

For those with hearing loss ---

Ease of communication seems to be our main goal here. We are all ages and walks of life, but we share a concern for communication in a hearing world and find that is possible, with friendships, education, technology, advocacy and information.

Meetings

We meet monthly on the second Tuesday at 6 :30 in the Louisville Public Library at 3rd and York. We are on the mezzanine level. On the 4th Saturday of most months we also have a lunch at the Hurstbourne Picadilly near Shelbyville Rd. We start at 2:00 PM. Also 3 times a year we have dinners/picnics instead of meetings. We are involved in statewide advocacy efforts and volunteer our thoughts and time to whatever needs doing in the community in the quest of spreading information about hearing loss.
