About our association

DPHA Mission Statement:

To stimulate interest in all community issues and improvements that will better the general welfare of the community and to pay strict attention to any attempt to lessen the value of property and quality of life within its borders.

Sense of Community-Modern times have robbed us of quality relationships with our neighbors. Association involvement gives us an opportunity for social contact through meetings and special events planned throughout the year. Life is richer with good neighbors.
Maintain Quality of Life-We can maintain the area’s atmosphere and make it a better place to live by being jointly involved with our community.
Safety/Protection-Joint cooperation and multiple eyes help our neighborhood
Programs work better, thus making our area safer. Crime is not on the way, it is already in our neighborhood.
Corporate Power for Issues Bigger than Ourselves-Working together gives us a more powerful voice to deal with political, and environmental issues;
annexation {Bartlett 2005], property taxes, uncontrolled development, street and safety.
Communication Network-Our Association network helps us to stay current on what is happening through new relationships, the Association newsletter, and the e-mail alert system for current events and emergency situations.

This is our Association, made by and for ourselves. It does take corporate effort to make things work. If we don’t make a plan for our future, other forces will make those plans for us, usually not in our best interest. Let us work together for a better community through active involvement in the Davies Plantation Homeowners Association.

Pet Directory

The pet directory was developed to assist in the return of lost and found pets to their owners.
In order to register your pets, please provide the following information to Mark Atwill at 388-8514 or by e-mail at
· The street address or the e-mail address(s) which will be used as a contact for the directory.
· Name of pet
· Primary breed type
· Mixed or full breed
· Size (large, medium, or small)
· Gender
· Primary color
· Color/type markings
· Distinguishing physical features
You can also include a description of collars or tag numbers. However, these items, if changed, should be kept current in the directory.
A 5-digit reference number will be established for each pet registered. When the directory volunteers receive notification that a pet is "found," they will check the directory for a match. They will then notify all owners of pets matching the description. If your pet is lost, you should notify Mark with your pet's ID number. It will remain on the "lost" list for one month following notification date.
This volunteer service encourages residents to comply with the normal legal guidelines for contacting county animal control services with regard to stray pets. We also encourage your compliance with local leash laws. This service does not warrant the safety or return of lost pets.
