Class of City
The City of Crossgate is a 6th class city established in 1968-69. There were three sections developed over the 60's prior to its incorporation. The city is 48 +/- acres. The distance to the City of Louisville's Central Business District is about 7 miles.
Description of the City
The majority of land subdivion and housing development for the creation of Crossgate occurred during the 1960's. Housing types are primarily clapboard and/or brick 1, 1 1/2 and 2 stories.
