Make the calls and check the crime maps to see if our neighborhood seems to be the area of problems.

Make sure you lock your car and cover things and do not leave your gps or the telltale suction cup marks on the windows or the mp3, laptops and other inviting targets in the car.

Call your neighbors too and be wary of solicitors and watch out for the kids Saturday nite for Halloween.

Dear Mary,

Vandalism is the occurrence when teenagers and young adults possess no part time or full wage jobs.  People break windows to obtain quick riches.

By the way, Halloween spurs dairy sales nationally as young people buy plenty of eggs to make them scrambled or to concoct great omelets.

Peace,

Ludlow1

As long as the omelets are eaten and not displayed on houses - it is a healthy idea

From our Providence Summit neighbors who live on 11th street.

When I left the house this morning, two cars in my neighbor's driveway were propped up and the tires had been stolen. The kicker is that the thief dismantled part of my brick wall and that's what he used to raise the cars. This all took place between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m.
